Nastia Y


Ukraine-born Stacey Yerofeyeva (aka Nastia Y) is a multifaceted artist & entrepreneur residing in Toronto, Canada. She is the front woman of the Slavic-electro-soul project DoVira [doh-VEE-rah], and founding member of the all-female Eastern European band Blisk. As a multilingual vocalist, her voice has been featured on the award-winning show Orphan Black, and as a keyboardist she has shared the stage with the likes of the Indo-Pakistani band JoSH, reggae act Kidd Rasta & the Peacemakers, having opened for Shafqat Amanat Ali, Jimmy Cliff, and Big Sugar, to name a few. Stacey holds an Associate (ARCT) diploma in classical piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor’s degree in contemporary jazz piano from Humber College. She is the founder/president of Stereoflavour, a music hub for Toronto’s most versatile professional musicians, providing top-caliber live entertainment & music planning services for weddings & events in the GTA. Stacey has over 9 recorded releases under her belt, including an original full-length r&b album ‘Set The Water Straight’, and DoVira’s latest self-titled release ‘DoVira’, which was coined “world fusion at its best” by Whole Note Magazine. Stacey is a passionate ambassador of Toronto as a “music city”, due to its unique talent and diversity, having served on the programming advisory committee for Hugh’s Room Live, and the FACTOR jury, with the hopes to elevate the sustainability of the industry, the world music, and the original music scenes.
